The Salt Mine

The world's oldest salt mine invites you on a fascinating underground journey. Glide down 34 m miners' slides into the depths, past 7,000-year-old tunnels. The dramatically illuminated underground salt lake is the highlight of every tour. Important note: The salt mine has been closed since September 2025 for extensive renovation works — reopening is planned for June 30, 2026. Admission funicular + mine: Adults EUR 49, Children (4–15) EUR 23.
